Founded in 1985, THAW is a leading statewide provider of utility assistance and has distributed over $216 million in assistance to over 308,000 Michigan households. THAW aids with gas, electricity, water and deliverable fuels such as wood and propane, to ensure families do not have to make a decision between heating their homes and feeding their families.
