Through the DTE Appliance Recycling Program, you can donate your appliance rebate to The Heat and Warmth Fund!
Here’s how the DTE Appliance Recycling Program works:
- Schedule an appointment at dteenergy.com/recycle to recycle your old, energy-inefficient appliances (small or large refrigerators, small or large freezers, room air conditioners or dehumidifiers).
- When scheduling your appointment, select the option to donate your rebate to THAW.
- On your appliance’s collection day, you will be provided a donation letter acknowledging your tax-deductible contribution to THAW. Then, THAW receives your donation!
Disclaimer: Subzero style refrigerators, commercial units, and GE Profile units will not be accepted.
